Join us on a journey into the world of mushrooms. On this morning walk we'll uncover some of the secrets hidden within this fascinating world. Each outing in this series takes place in a different setting, with the itinerary decided each time based on weather conditions and the season. Along the way we analyse the surrounding environment together — plants, soil, terrain morphology and climate — to understand where and why mushrooms grow. Suitable for anyone fascinated by the forest and eager to learn more. We'll learn to read the landscape to understand where to look, get hands-on with the extraordinary variety of fungi found in our valleys, and discover the deep connections between soil, plants, and climate. This walk is not for those hoping to go home with baskets full of mushrooms. It's for those who want to spend a pleasant morning in the woods and learn to see their surroundings from a new perspective, guided by someone who lives the forest every day. Mushroom foraging is subject to rules, which will be explained on site. Determining whether a mushroom is edible is the responsibility of the local ATS Mycological Inspectorate. I love meeting visitors and showing them the beauty of our valley. Why not book a private tour? Get in touch!
